Rochester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Castle Rock Rockets. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Castle Rock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shyann Watkins, who went 6 of 13 en route to 12 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Meyers, who posted four points along with 11 rebounds and five assists.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Castle Rock, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Rochester will be playing in front of their home fans against Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Castle Rock, they will venture away from home to challenge La Center at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
