Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Coast Comes Up Short

Atlantic Coast lost against Fleming Island back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Stingrays took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Stingrays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 22-25, 25-15.

Hanna Kophamer went supernova For Fleming Island., getting 20 digs and six aces. That's the most digs Kophamer has posted over her last six matchups. Saniya Robinson also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Atlantic Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Fleming Island, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season.

Atlantic Coast is taking a road trip to take on Englewood at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fleming Island, they will venture away from home to challenge Santa Fe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
