Springfield put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Sleepy Eye Indians with a sharp 15-2 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Noah Neperman made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Springfield got a massive performance out of Madden Lendt, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Lendt has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Kade Nachreiner, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double.

Springfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sleepy Eye only posted an OBP of .318.

Springfield pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sleepy Eye, they moved to 8-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Springfield and Sleepy Eye should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Tigers will challenge Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (3 vs. 225). Meanwhile, Sleepy Eye (ranked 111th) will meet Wabasso (ranked 250th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
