Volleyball Recap: Las Plumas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Las Plumas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Orland Trojans. If the Thunderbirds were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-4, 25-12.

Las Plumas' offense was headlined by Younger Leila and Myli Benedict, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Jassilyn Saetern and her nine assists.

Las Plumas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Orland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Las Plumas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Corning on the 25th. As for Orland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against River Valley on the 24th.
