Softball Recap: Royse City Takes a Loss

If Royse City was riding high fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Tyler Legacy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Rockwall-Heath Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 15-0.

Royse City's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Rockwall-Heath, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Royse City is set to challenge their familiar foe North Forney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rockwall-Heath will take on rival Longview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
