Basketball Recap: Gaston Comes Up Short

Gaston lost against Sardis back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gaston Bulldogs fell 72-63 to the Sardis Lions. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gaston's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Sardis, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-14 record this season.

Gaston will host Cedar Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st. Cedar Bluff knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Gaston likes a good challenge. Sardis has already played their next game (against Glencoe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
