Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Harrisburg and Bergman squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Harrisburg had to settle for second. They lost 64-43 to the Bergman Panthers. The Hornets have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Harrisburg lost, don't look at Elisabeth Green. Despite the final result, she shot 62% from the field en route to 17 points and six boards. Green's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Cassie Carlson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Bergman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Harrisburg nor Bergman have any future games scheduled.
