Basketball Recap: Birch Run Comes Up Short

Birch Run suffered their biggest loss since February 6th on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the New Lothrop Hornets and fell 64-23. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Birch Run is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for New Lothrop, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Birch Run will be home for the holidays to greet Byron at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. New Lothrop and Ovid-Elsie will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ovid-Elsie will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something New Lothrop surely won't give up without a fight.
