Football Recap: Cooper Cougars vs. Memorial Mavericks
Cooper's game on Friday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy 42-27 win over the Memorial Mavericks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.
Cooper had a senior duo take command as Jaden Carrillo rushed for 125 yards and four scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry and Peyton Ewing rushed for 143 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. Those 143 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Ewing.

Cooper was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 353 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
