Basketball Recap: Rockford Takes a Loss

Rockford suffered their biggest defeat since March 9, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by the Breck Mustangs 78-49. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Rockets' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

With the loss, Rockford broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points over those games. As for Breck, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season.
