Ardsley had already won six in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They came out on top against the Mamaroneck Tigers by a score of 3-1.

Ardsley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-9.

Ardsley's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mamaroneck, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Ardsley has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Byram Hills on the 17th. As for Mamaroneck, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harrison at 4:30 p.m. on October 23.
