Basketball Recap: Paideia's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Paideia was riding high fresh off their 74-41 takedown of Atlanta International on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Paideia Pythons fell 70-60 to the Walker Wolverines on Friday. The Pythons haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Anderson Carey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Walker, going 7 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. That's the most boards Carey has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Graham Titus, who went 6 of 9 en route to 14 points.

Paideia's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9. As for Walker, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Business Engineering Science Tech the next time they take the court. Walker will head out to face Business Engineering Science Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Paideia will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
