Volleyball Game Preview: North East Grape Pickers vs. Cathedral Prep Ramblers

The North East Grape Pickers are taking a road trip to face off against the Cathedral Prep Ramblers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

North East lost 3-0 to Corry on Thursday. The Grape Pickers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

North East took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Cathedral Prep had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Yellowjackets.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-11.

North East's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-6-1. As for Cathedral Prep, their win bumped their record up to 12-10-1.

North East might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Cathedral Prep when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Grape Pickers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
