Basketball Preview: Summit International Prep Skyhawks vs. North Hills Prep
The Summit International Prep Skyhawks will head out on the road to face off against North Hills Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Summit International Prep's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy on the road and fell 84-28. While losing is never fun, Summit International Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 892nd, while the Eagles are ranked 55th).
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 104-51, which was the final score in North Hills Prep's tilt against the Eagles on Friday.
Despite the loss, North Hills Prep had strong showings from Grant Jackson, who scored 22 points, and Kareem Badawi, who scored 12 points.
