Softball Recap: Sayre Redskins vs. Towanda Black Knights

Sayre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Towanda Black Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sayre of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Sayre saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Lantz, who went 1-for-2 with a triple and an RBI.

On Towanda's side, Shaylee Greenland was a major factor while hitting and pitching.
