Basketball Recap: Libby Endress' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bureau Valley over Brimfield

On Thursday, the Bureau Valley Storm came up short against the Brimfield Indians and fell 58-49. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bureau Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Libby Endress, who posted 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Brooke Helms was another key player, putting up seven points along with six assists and three steals.

Bureau Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Brimfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Bureau Valley will square off against Knoxville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brimfield, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Farmington at 7:15 p.m.
