West Clermont unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 4-1 to the Little Miami Panthers on Thursday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but West Clermont couldn't quite close it out.

West Clermont didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Middletown on the 23rd. As for Little Miami, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Summit Country Day on the 25th.
