Baseball Recap: Male Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Male had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt West Jessamine on Monday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 11-1 win. The Bulldogs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18th (when they won 15-4).

Kellen Goodman spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up ten Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Male is 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 11-15 otherwise.
