Lincoln is 9-1 against Robert C. Byrd since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will host the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Lincoln will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Lincoln took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Ritchie County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rebels on Thursday, sneaking past 9-7. Nine seems to be a good number for the Cougars as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Robert C. Byrd came up short against North Marion on Friday, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Huskies since April 10, 2019.

This is the second loss in a row for Robert C. Byrd and nudges their season record down to 12-14. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.

Lincoln got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April against Robert C. Byrd by a conclusive 12-1 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
