Volleyball Recap: Summers County Comes Up Short

Summers County lost against James Monroe back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mavericks. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Summers County's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for James Monroe, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Summers County and James Monroe will both be playing Midland Trail the next time they take the court. The Mavericks will head out to face the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bobcats will host them at 6:00 p.m. on October 7.
