Baseball Recap: Oak Hills Takes a Loss

Oak Hills lost against Colerain back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Highlanders wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Wil Kraus made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Harrison, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Oak Hills' loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Colerain, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Looking ahead, Oak Hills will face off against Middletown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Highlanders are facing the Middies at the right time seeing as the Middies are stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Colerain, they will square off against Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Indians will have lost 13 straight heading into Thursday's game.
