The Heritage Christian Eagles will take on the Lyons Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Heritage Christian faced off against SkyView Academy on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 3-1.
Heritage Christian was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 16-25, 25-12.

Heritage Christian relied on the efforts of Abby Leveillee, who had 12 digs and two aces, and Annabelle Loucks, who had 14 kills, seven digs, and four aces. Loucks is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Samantha Snow also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Heritage Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lyons, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Dawson School on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lyons was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-6, 25-5.
Lyons' win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Heritage Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Heritage Christian has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 12.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Lyons struggles in that department as they've been averaging 13.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
