Flag Football Game Preview: Los Osos Grizzlies vs. Etiwanda Eagles

Los Osos is 0-3 against Etiwanda since September of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Los Osos headed into their last matchup having not scored more than 13 points for seven straight, but St. Lucy's let them put that streak behind them. The Grizzlies enjoyed a cozy 47-31 win over the Regents on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Regents: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Etiwanda didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Upland on Monday, but they still walked away with a 19-13 win.

Etiwanda's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Los Osos, their win bumped their record up to 7-11-1.

Things could have been worse for Los Osos, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 19-0 loss to Etiwanda when the teams last played two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Eagles' SHELBY HONG, who threw for 225 yards and a pair of TDs on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 35 yards.
