Monterey Trail won the last time they faced Sheldon and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs blew past the Huskies 3-0. The Mustangs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3rd (when they won 3-0).

Monterey Trail's got stronger as the match went on, holding Sheldon to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-12.

Callie Neufeld paced Monterey Trail's offense, picking up 15 kills. Neufeld got some help from Xumai Nguyen and her 14 assists. Neufeld was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Monterey Trail moved to 11-12 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak. As for Sheldon, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
