Football Recap: Bonanza Triumphs

Bonanza won the last time they faced Del Sol and things went their way on Friday too. The Bengals came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 27-15.

Bonanza didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Freddy Cunningham and Gavin Forgue.

Despite the loss, Del Sol still got an impressive performance from Arthur Gonzales, who picked up 100 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Gonzales really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards.

Bonanza's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Del Sol, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Bonanza and Del Sol will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bengals see the field they'll take on Sunrise Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Del Sol, their break will end when they face Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th.
