Cooper Schulz posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Analy is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 7-8 otherwise.

Schulz's strong effort led Analy over Montgomery and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
