On Tuesday, Elkhorn South faced Elkhorn North in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Elkhorn South Storm had just enough and edged Elkhorn North out 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Storm.

Isabel Junior went supernova for Elkhorn South, getting 32 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, Junior is now averaging an impressive 10.8 digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Braithwaite, who had 11 digs.
Elkhorn North lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Millie Mauch, who had 12 digs and two aces.
