Coal Ridge extended their postseason success on Friday against Delta. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 11-5 win. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Ben Simons, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Maddox Olivas, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Coal Ridge pushed their record up to 23-2-1 with the victory, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Delta, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

Coal Ridge has already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Eaton on the 23rd. As for Delta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-5 loss against The Classical Academy on the 24th.
