Volleyball Recap: Chapel Hill Comes Up Short

Chapel Hill came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Spring Hill Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Chapel Hill was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Spring Hill's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-13.

Chapel Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season. As for Spring Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season.
