Soccer Recap: Yankton Takes a Loss

If Yankton was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rapid City Central on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bucks/Gazelles came up short against the Watertown Arrows on Tuesday, falling 7-0.

Yankton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Watertown, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Yankton will challenge rival Pierre T.F. Riggs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Yankton's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Watertown is set to take on their familiar foe Tea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
