If Brush was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Liberty Common last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Beetdiggers lost 3-0 to the Platte Valley Broncos on Tuesday. The Beetdiggers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Brush ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-22.

Addy Grossnickle had a dynamite game For Platte Valley., getting 20 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Grossnickle has posted since back in September.

Brush's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Platte Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Brush is set to square off against their familiar foe Resurrection Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Platte Valley will take on rival Eaton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
