Ludington hadn't done well against Orchard View recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Orioles put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 19-9 victory. That looming 19-9 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Orioles yet this season.

The win (which was Ludington's third in a row) raised their record to 4-12. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Orchard View, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
