Volleyball Recap: Dugway Takes a Loss

Dugway lost against Salt Lake Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs came up short against the Griffins, falling 3-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-11.

Gary Williams paced Dugway's offense, picking up five kills. Williams got some help from Cru Andrus and his seven assists. Quaid Elton controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Dugway's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Salt Lake Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dugway will square off against rival Wasatch Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Salt Lake Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
