Basketball Recap: Jamestown Takes a Loss

Jamestown played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 65-25 defeat at the hands of the Youngsville Eagles. The Muskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-19.

Several Muskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Danner Babcock, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Josh Graves, who scored nine points.

Jamestown now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Youngsville, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Jamestown won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Union City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Youngsville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kane at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
