Baseball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern lost against Symmes Valley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Vikings, falling 9-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastern saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Declan Davis, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Davis' first of the season.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Symmes Valley, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern will head out to take on East at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Symmes Valley, they will face off against South Gallia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
