Basketball Recap: Parker Takes a Loss

Parker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Ramsay Rams 59-32. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thundering Herd this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-33 back in November.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Ramsay, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Parker will take on Midfield in a tournament on Friday. Midfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Parker surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ramsay, they will host Childersburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Ramsay's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Childersburg has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
