Gateway had lost eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 2-11 to make it nine. They lost 17-2 to the San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines. If the Gators were looking for revenge after losing 9-3 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Gil Passman-Lapushin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run. Valentino Montoya also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
