Softball Recap: North Monterey County Comes Up Short

North Monterey County was the 10-2 winner over Stevenson when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Condors fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday.

Julia Oliva made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

North Monterey County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Stevenson, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Monterey County is set to square off against their familiar foe Soledad at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Stevenson will challenge rival Monte Vista Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
