Baseball Game Preview: Claude Mustangs vs. Shamrock Irish

For the second straight game, Claude will face off against Shamrock. The Mustangs will host the Irish at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Claude has given up an average of 15.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Claude blew Shamrock out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Shamrock got their revenge. The Mustangs fell just short of the Irish by a score of 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Mustangs have suffered since March 4, 2024.

Brooks Myers and Dk Robison stepped up to the plate in a big way. Myers scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Robison went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Myers is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Korbin Jackson was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Claude's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Shamrock, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.
