Baseball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pennington Tigers. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pennington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pennington, they are taking a road trip to square off against Southeastern at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
