Volleyball Recap: Chisago Lakes Area Takes a Loss

Chisago Lakes Area lost against Mahtomedi back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Zephyrs by a score of 2-1.

Kate Friedner paced Chisago Lakes Area's offense, picking up nine kills. Friedner got some help from Kianna Osmundson and her 14 assists.

Chisago Lakes Area's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Mahtomedi, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Chisago Lakes Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cambridge-Isanti on the 27th. As for Mahtomedi, they will be playing at home against Simley at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
