Geneva won the last time they faced South Elgin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings came out on top in a nail-biter against the Storm, sneaking past 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Geneva got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 21-25, 25-22.

The win got Geneva back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Geneva will be taking part in a tournament against Loyola Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Elgin, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Schaumburg on the 27th.
