Alyssa Kunz gave up the fewest hits she has since back in March on Friday. She was dynamite, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Kunz and Berwyn/Cicero Morton will venture away from home to face off against Proviso East at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are a perfect 10-0 against the Pirates going back to May of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
