Turner is 1-9 against Creekview since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Turner Lions will look to defend their home field against the Creekview Mustangs at 6:45 p.m. Turner is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Turner came up short against Highland Park on Tuesday, falling 9-3.

Adra Ogelvie was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, Creekview hadn't done well against Lone Star recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Creekview came out on top against Lone Star by a score of 7-3.

Kelis Lee was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Lee was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

Lee wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was MacKenzie Martin, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most RBI Martin has posted since back in February.

Turner's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Creekview, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Turner has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .542. However, it's not like Creekview struggles in that department as they've averaged .450. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Turner skirted past Creekview 6-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Turner repeat their success, or does Creekview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
