Dorchester Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors get on the board and left with  a   15-0  win  on Friday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by ten  runs or more this season.
 Emery McClure made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Lucy Varnadoe was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Rylee Matthews was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Dorchester Academy  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in four consecutive  matches.
Dorchester Academy pushed their record up to 17-4 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.5 runs over those games.
