Recap: El Segundo Eagles vs. Carson Colts
The El Segundo Eagles's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against Carson by a score of 51-40. That's another feather in the cap for El Segundo, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Carson still got an impressive performance from Jacob Ortega, who scored 23 points. The game was Ortega's 14th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ezekiel Harry, who scored nine points.
El Segundo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Carson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
