Recap: Seeger Patriots vs. West Lafayette Red Devils
The Seeger Patriots have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 63-48 fall against West Lafayette on Friday. Seeger lost against West Lafayette in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 81-75 score last time.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was cameron laws, who scored 14 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Holland, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Seeger's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for West Lafayette, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seeger will take on South Vermillion at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024. As for West Lafayette, they will be playing at home against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
