Basketball Recap: Liberty Union Takes a Loss

Liberty Union suffered their biggest defeat since December 28, 2024 on Friday. They lost 63-38 to the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Johnnies are ranked 95th).

Liberty Union's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Johnstown-Monroe, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

As of now, neither Liberty Union nor Johnstown-Monroe have any future games scheduled.
