Basketball Recap: West Port Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Forest wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played West Port, they should've done a better job of containing Aaliyah Grant. The West Port Wolf Pack came out on top against the Forest Wildcats by a score of 52-44 on Friday thanks in part to Grant, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 20 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The win made it two in a row for West Port and bumps their season record up to 13-7. As for Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.

When West Port and Forest next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. West Port will face off against Newberry and their seven-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Forest will try to stop Seven Rivers Christian's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
