Soccer Game Preview: Morgan vs. Ridgewood

The Morgan Raiders will venture away from home to challenge the Ridgewood Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgan has given up an average of 6.4 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Morgan's offense. They lost 5-0 to Coshocton on Tuesday. Morgan haven't had much luck with Coshocton recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Ridgewood had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Carrollton on Monday, sneaking past 3-2.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Ridgewood, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9-3.

Morgan couldn't quite get it done against Ridgewood when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
